Nordic Chem strives to create healthier, cleaner environments by implementing our revolutionary water-based antimicrobial coating. This product can be applied to almost any surface, which enables a whole new level of protection in your facility. It is tested to be effective against a wide range of viruses and bacterias, creating an inhospitable surface for these dangerous microorganisms, keeping your facility safer for everyone.
Our formula is a next generation water-based, long-term antimicrobial coating, designed to inhibit the growth of microorganisms for up to 90 days after application. Once the coating has dried, it forms an invisible layer of “nanospikes” that penetrates the cell membrane and destroys them. Due to these “nanospikes”, the process of elimination is mechanical and not chemical in comparison with other long term solutions such as silver and copper. This is extremely effective in both high and low traffic areas alike. The active ingredient in the coating is ECHA (European Chemicals Agency) registered to reduce a broad spectrum of microbes. The coating can be applied to and bonds with almost any surface – porous or non-porous, metal, leather, fabric etc. Nordic Chem is recommended to be applied by a professionally-trained installer for maximum efficiency.
The Technology
Our coating’s technology is based on the use of quaternary ammonium silicone compounds (“SiQAC”) as antimicrobial agents, either in solvent, or in aqueous and stable solutions. Making these compounds using a water-based system provides a host of benefits. They are non-flammable and require no solvents for dilution. They require no special handling, are uniformly dispersible on almost any surface, and are simple and economical to use because of their extended shelf-life.
When the ammonium salts react with certain organosilanes they form an integrated system. Once this system is applied to any surface, it forms an invisible (one molecule deep) and durable (through ion exchange and rapid polymerization) antimicrobial protection.

The International Registry of Surface Protection is a free-standing and independent foundation and registry whose purpose is to help businesses communicate the measurements they have taken to prevent viral and bacterial surface contamination. The registry is based on independent IRSP-approved installers reporting back into the registry when a surface treatment was conducted and what coating that was used. The information in the registry is accessible to the public. Any facility treated with our coatings will have the option of being registered by the IRSP.

No jackets or shirts displaying other advertising, logos, or pictures are allowed. Smoking is prohibited. No use of electronic devices that play music or other forms of entertainment are allowed: we are in your place of business to clean, not to be entertained. No profanity is allowed. No mobile phone use is allowed except for company communication or emergency purposes. We value the trust you place in us.

He has over 7 years experience in all areas of the cleaning business and is available to answer any of your cleaning questions, evaluate your needs and schedule cleaning services for you. He also coordinates staff assignments.

A customer service representative will be available to answer any questions you may have from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Sunday.
Any calls to the office made after closing time will be returned by 10:00 AM the next working day.
